Extreme Chill Festival / Undir Jökli 2011

Well folks it´s what we have been waiting for, it´s the second time for Extreme Chill Festival.
Last year was truly amazing to say the least.
We have been working very hard on this years festival and the waiting is finally drawing to a close.

This year we have over 30 artist´s playing at the festival,
including, the best of the best from the Icelandic music scene alongside the legend Biosphere from Norway and the amazing
Solar Fields from Sweden.

Stereo Hypnosis Live at Jauna Muzika Festival 2011 / 28th April

"JAUNA MUZIKA" - The biggest electronic and electroacoustic music festival in Lithuania and Baltic States - Vilnius, Lithuania

Since 1992 Lithuanian Composers' Union organizes new music festival JAUNA MUZIKA. During 18 years this international event presented many programs regularly including leading Lithuanian composers and performers as well as renowned international musicians, such as Markus Stockhausen, Tomoko Mukaiyama, Ensemble Singcircle, Hilliard Ensemble, Ensemble InterContemporain, and many others.

Many of the concerts are organized in cooperation with new music centres, funds, embassies and others institutions (as Goethe Institut, Polish Institute, Gaudeamus, l'AFAA, Pro Helvetia, Kulturkontakt, Rikskonserter, and others).

From 2002 JAUNA MUZIKA pays very strong attention to the electronic and electroacoustic music, trying to present most successful achievements in this field. During the period of 2002-09, the festival programs included performances of electronic musicians from Sweden, Finland, Russia, Latvia, the Ukraine, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, the USA, Japan - Phill Niblock, Pita, Pure, Farmers Manual, Luc Houtcamp, Edwin van der Heide, Åke Parmerud, Petri Kuljuntausta, The Vegetable Orchestra, Alva Noto, Ryoji Ikeda, Merzbow, STEIM, Fennesz, Frank Bretschneider, Richard Chartier and others.

After an amazing night last time, we aren´t near about to stop!

Thank You All.

Big Thank you to all who showed up at Kaffibarinn last wednesday at the Biogen Tribute night.
It was without a doubt the best Extreme Chill night we have held.

Kaffibarinn was packed with around 160 people dancing, screaming and really enjoying themselves,
we have never seen anything like this before, you could really sense the incredible atmosphere.
Bjössi would have been so happy with this.

This just shows how strong the electronic scene is right now here in Reykjavík.
We have definitely made our mark on the icelandic music scene and we are just getting warm.
